Here we met with fellow Effingham County residents and the group, 100 Miles, collecting petitions and discussing how to slow the onslaught of mega-warehouse construction. Green advocacy means working with communities throughout our county on sustainability initiatives.
EGG helped distribute anti-warehouse signs created by 100 Miles to interested individuals in communities throughout the county.

EGG submits written statements based on extensive research to educate policy makers. This includes environmental topics related to wetlands, tree ordinances, data centers, warehouses, pedestrian trails, ecosystems, native plants, and recreation areas.

EGG advocates for public policy that supports rather than destroys our environment and quality of life. EGG provides public statements in efforts to create good policy and modify harmful ordinances. EGG continues these efforts at meetings of Effingham County Commissioners, as well as Rincon City Council.
